| MTU Maintenance Fort Worth will conduct engine shop visits as well as on-site events
Fort Worth, October 28, 2026 | MTU Maintenance has signed a long-term maintenance agreement with Patriot Dynamics covering maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services as well as on-site support for LEAP engines.
Under the agreement, MTU Maintenance will provide MRO and on-site services over a period of ten years. The contract further strengthens MTU's presence in the North American engine MRO market and marks another important step in the development of the company's new facility in Fort Worth, Texas. It establishes cooperation with the US-based aviation asset owner and lessor, and enables MTU to support throughout the operating life of their engines.
"Securing this long-term agreement with Patriot Dynamics demonstrates the confidence our customers place in our capabilities and provides a strong foundation for the further development of our operations at MTU Maintenance Fort Worth," says Martin Friis-Petersen, SVP of MRO Programs at MTU Aero Engines.
Patriot Dynamics is also exploring further leasing and asset management provisions regarding LEAP engines via MTU Maintenance Lease Services. David Roajs, Partner at Patriot Dynamics, says "the broad spectrum of MTU's services as a Premier MRO makes it an ideal partner.
"Partnering with MTU is an important step as we build our LEAP engine platform," says Michael Sheldon, Principal at Patriot Dynamics. "Their technical expertise and comprehensive support capabilities will help us deliver reliable engine solutions for our customers while protecting the long-term value of our assets."
Located right next to Perot Field Airport in Fort Worth, MTU's maintenance facility offers approximately 430,000 square feet of production and support space, and is equipped with dedicated engine testing capabilities. It is a Premier MRO provider for LEAP engine services and is currently ramping up the engine program.
