Mexico's Grupo Financiero Banorte BMV:GFNORTE/O reported a 4% climb in its second-quarter net profit from the year-ago period on Tuesday, hitting 14.62 billion pesos.

Revenues for the lender totaled 39.16 billion pesos in the quarter, up 9% from a year earlier.
