Operational Update for the nine months ended 30 September 2026
Nostrum Oil & Gas PLC (LSE: NOG) (“Nostrum”, or the “Company” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) today announces its operational update for the nine months ended 30 September 2026 (“9M 2026”).
Viktor Gladun, Chief Executive Officer of Nostrum Oil & Gas PLC, commented:
"Up until the completion of the sale of its Kazakhstan operations, Nostrum continued to maintain strong operational resilience, disciplined financial management, and the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance. During the 9M 2026, the Group generated approximately US$115 million revenues, which is circa 35% improvement compared to 9M 2025, and a free cashflow of over US$25 million excluding one-off items. This was achieved thanks to improved export volumes, higher product prices, and over 12% increase in average daily processed volumes.
Following the completion of the transaction on sale of Kazakhstan operations in October, Nostrum made a full redemption at par of its US$240 million Senior Secured Notes (with accrued interest) and redeemed US$417 million Senior Unsecured Notes for a cash consideration of US$170 million (following interest payment), delivering substantial value to its bondholders.
Looking ahead, our focus remains on fulfilling our obligations, maintaining financial discipline to manage the remaining cost base for the orderly managed wind-down, with a view to maximize value for our stakeholders."
9M 2026 Highlights:
Operational
Production and sales
- 13.3% increase in average daily processed volumes (i.e. Chinarevskoye and Ural Oil & Gas LLP ("Ural O&G") feedstock, including condensate tolling) to 26,724 boepd (9M 2025: 23,596 boepd). This includes a 12.8% increase in average daily titled output product volumes (i.e. Chinarevskoye production and dry gas and LPG produced from Ural O&G feedstock) to 18,383 boepd (9M 2025: 16,300 boepd). These increases were achieved through continuing to process the ramping up feedstock from Ural O&G and managing the expected decline in Chinarevskoye production through well workovers of ESP failures and flow assurance well servicing.
- The split of the titled output product volumes was as follows:
Products | 9M 2026 volumes (boepd) | 9M 2025 volumes (boepd) | Y-on-Y | 9M 2026 product mix | 9M 2025 product mix
Crude Oil | 1,941 | 2,403 | (19.2%) | 10.6% | 14.7%
Stabilised Condensate | 1,684 | 1,559 | 8.0% | 9.1% | 9.6%
LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) | 3,510 | 3,038 | 15.5% | 19.1% | 18.6%
Dry Gas | 11,248 | 9,300 | 21.0% | 61.2% | 57.1%
Total | 18,383 | 16,300 | 12.8% | 100.0% | 100.0% |
*Stabilised condensate volumes exclude Ural O&G processed volumes for which Nostrum receives a tolling fee
- 14.8% increase in average daily sales volumes to 16,455 boepd (9M 2025: 14,339 boepd). The difference between titled output product volumes and sales volumes was primarily due to the internal consumption of dry gas produced and the timing of product deliveries, which leads to inventory increases or decreases at period end.
Chinarevskoye Field
In June 2026, the Company successfully completed the planned maintenance of Gas Treatment Unit 3 within planned timeline and without cost overruns. Further planned maintenance of Oil Treatment Unit and GTU 1/2 were carried out in late September and early October.
Processing of Ural O&G products
Throughout 9M 2026, the Company continued processing raw gas and condensate volumes from Ural O&G, resulting in increased processed and titled output product volumes.
Financial
- 9M 2026 revenue is estimated at approximately US$115 million (9M 2025: US$85.5 million). The increase was mainly driven by higher export volumes, stronger Brent crude oil price and increased sales and processed volumes. The average Brent crude oil price was US$93.34/bbl in 9M 2026 (9M 2025: US$70.95/bbl).
- The Group generated a free cashflow of approximately US$26 million, excluding the security deposit of US$13.5 million received from the Buyer in accordance with the terms of the SPA.
- In June 2026, following the receipt of the applicable regulatory licence, Nostrum made interest payments in the total amount of US$25.2 million, of which US$15.6 million were funded out of DSRA.
- The unrestricted cash and cash equivalents balance as at 30 September 2026 was in excess of US$170 million (31 December 2025: US$143.3 million, 30 June 2026: US$154.4 million), excluding the security deposit of US$13.5 million received from the Buyer in accordance with the terms of the SPA.
- The Group remains focused on maximising facility uptime, controlling costs where possible and improving efficiencies across the business. At the same time, capital allocation remains disciplined and focused on preserving liquidity while assessing development opportunities across the asset base.
HSE and ESG
- Zero fatalities among employees and contractors during operations (9M 2025: zero).
- Total Recordable Incidents (incidents per million man-hours) of 2.8 (9M 2025: 0.81).
