With preparations already in progress, the programme is scheduled to commence in mid-March 2027. The German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH), as the Contracting Authority, shall be entitled to call off services under this multiyear Framework Agreement from the date of its award.
Fugro highly values its partnership with BSH and is honoured to support the agency in implementing its vision for the future development of offshore renewable energy in Germany. As Germany progresses towards its long-term offshore wind ambitions, Fugro is proud to play a role in helping deliver the data and insights that underpin a successful and sustainable energy transition.
"Fugro's strong track record of providing reliable geotechnical data and expert advice in support of offshore development and bidding programmes has undoubtedly contributed to the award of this project. Our ability to mobilise dedicated geotechnical drilling vessels and specialised seabed Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) assets was also a key factor in the success of our tender," said Erik Vogt, Project Director at Fugro Germany. "The strength of Fugro's integrated international network. The close and long-standing cooperation between our teams in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Germany has been instrumental in developing a highly competitive solution for BSH," added Sven Plasman, Principal Commercial Manager, Fugro Netherlands Marine.
